Nowadays residential swimming pool builders can not inform future pool owners accurately about their future energy usage with a pool. Poolsimpro is an online application which can be used by the builders to perform energy simulations to inform about and optimize the energy consumption and the use of renewable energy (with for example pv-panels). Later on, the software will be used to directly control swimming pool appliances in an intelligent way to optimize the cost of energy consumption and the use of renewable energy.
