Jan Devos holds a master degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematics (KU Leuven, 1984), an MBA (Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, 1992), and a PhD in Engineering (Ghent University, 2011). He is currently associate professor at the Ghent University, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering. He is also an associated professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
His current research interests are IT governance in SMEs, design science, IS failures, and IT Security. Prof. Devos has published several articles on IT and SMEs and was a speaker at international academic and business conferences, which proceedings are published in different Springer series of LNBIP and AICT.
